The filter is excellent. With a few seconds effort it really completely covers the inside of the mask giving a real sense of security.
The mask complete with filter is very comfortable to wear and it’s the only make I’ve used that makes breathing completely effortless.
A week or so ago I mislaid the mask and others felt stifling and inadequate by comparison. I have now received from you a replacement and meanwhile have found the ‘missing’ one!

This is not an easy product to review. I bought the filters and they fit very nicely into my already filtered face masks, thank you. What I don't know is whether they lose their 'protect the wearer' properties if laundered. Can you tell me that, please? I had laundered the actual masks and didn't know whether they 'worked' properly after that, hence my purchase of the separate filters. I am actually not really sure about anything!

Reviewing from MCAS / MCS perspective - I was actually a little surprised with how good these are. I tend to use 2 filters as I have MCAS and chemical sensitivity, but compared to the much thicker/stronger filters I usually have to use, these are really not bad at all! I use them on a dog walk or somewhere I know there isn't going to be REALLY strong smells (smoke, perfume, bleach etc - where I have to use a respirator or stronger filtered face masks etc) and it's nice to be able to just wear a fabric mask with a couple of these in from time to time instead of a restrictive/tight face mask or respirator. Obviously this review is probably only relevant to others with MCAS / chemical sensitivity, but I hope it's at least a little helpful to others with these conditions :).

I thot the mask was very well made and very well thought out, however - size options(for comfort), a more mouldable Nose bridge(steaming up lenses)and heat build up - could be improved. I am a small adult and the mask was a little full in the face for me on occasion when I attended an optician appointment , which I accept the mask is not specialised in, and all 3 issues I raised were experienced.
However, as a mask in general and used within social distancing, I felt very safe and comfortable with the fit. I do love the quality and the number of layers.

PROPER CONTOUR SHAPE FOR NOSE AND MOUTH PROTECTION - These have the same ample size as those filters that fit into two cyclist/bikers masks that I have - minus the holes cut out for the filters to fit around their two breathing vents. No problem there though as I have another 5 slightly larger than normal masks, sold via Amazon, by a company called 'Crafty Sam', and these filters fit into their larger pouches as if they were designed for that very purpose. That was what I was hoping for when I ordered these filters, so I am very happy about it all. The regime of regularly sanitizing them will be as I have maintained with other PM 2.5 filters - placed in a shallow cereal bowl with boiling kettle water pored over them to eradicate all viruses - allow to dry naturally and they can be used safely again and again.

These shaped filters fit inside the face mask much better covering a greater area which to me seems a safer option. They are stiff enough to easily insert but you can't really feel them at all when you wear the mask.
